I am Kate Dukes, a highly skilled businesswoman with diverse business skills who demands excellence of herself and others and relishes fresh challenges.


Welsh born and blooded, I was brought up in Buckinghamshire and, after school completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychology at the University of Bristol. My first two jobs were for medium sized Agencies, where I gained business discipline and a very wide range of knowledge and skills and ended up in Senior Management roles.


In 2000 after my second child was born I started working with husband and partners, in Marketing and HR roles, latterly as a Director. Not only did I set up all of the business processes in the company I was responsible for the launch of Old House Store, a builders merchant specialising in materials for period properties. Every aspect of marketing was fulfilled by me, which is where I started to acquire my creative software design skills. During my 4 years there the company grew to twice its size.


I was then asked to take on the Business Management of another fledgling business as a Consultant, which is how Dukes Management Services was born, and again put all of the necessary measures in place for it to run efficiently and be successful. I was responsible for every aspect of marketing and business development. During my 8 years with them the company grew by 600%.


I have a number of local clients whom I've helped to launch, promote or grow their business. The personal nature of a small business and the ultimate potential it can achieve and how I can influence its growth and profitability is what excites me.


I enjoy life and get the most out it that I can. My hobbies include running, tap dancing and Amateur Dramatics. I am very active in my local community.
